1. Introduction & Core Architecture

Welcome to InvoicePro (package name: com.crazydeveloper.businessmatepro). We respect your business confidentiality and are dedicated to preserving the privacy and security of your financial accounting records.

This Privacy Policy explains how our Android mobile application operates, the limited scope of device permissions requested, and how your business data is treated. By installing or using InvoicePro, you acknowledge and agree to the data practices outlined in this policy.

2. Information Handled & Storage

InvoicePro provides invoicing, POS billing, quotation drafting, inventory tracking, GST computation, and business financial ledger functions. In order to offer these services, you may enter:

• Business Profile Information: Business name, address, GSTIN / Tax ID, state, contact phone, business email, bank account number, IFSC code, branch, and UPI ID.
• Customer & Supplier Records: Names, billing/shipping addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and balance ledgers.
• Product & Inventory Details: Product titles, descriptions, HSN/SAC codes, barcode values, stock levels, unit purchase prices, and selling prices.
• Transaction Records: Invoices, credit notes, quotations, delivery challans, payment receipts, and expense vouchers.
• Signatures: Digital signatures drawn within the signature capture module for attaching to printed or exported invoices.

3. Device Permissions & Purpose

InvoicePro adheres to the principle of minimal privilege. Every requested permission maps directly to an explicit, user-initiated feature within the application:

4. App Lock & Biometric Security

To protect sensitive business accounting and customer data from unauthorized local access, InvoicePro includes an optional App Lock feature leveraging the official Android Biometric API (androidx.biometric:biometric).

• When enabled, you can unlock the app using your device's fingerprint sensor, face recognition, or device PIN/pattern.
• Biometric Data Protection: Authentication is handled strictly by the Android operating system and device hardware (Secure Element / TEE). InvoicePro never has access to, nor does it store or transmit, your biometric credentials or templates.

5. Bluetooth Thermal Printers

InvoicePro includes an integrated ESC/POS printer driver that formats and streams standard receipt commands directly over Bluetooth to paired thermal printers.

• Printing communications happen point-to-point between your phone and your physical printer.
• No print data or invoice details pass through any cloud print proxy or third-party print server.

6. Backups, Exports & Data Portability

We believe that you should have absolute ownership of your data at all times. InvoicePro provides transparent export and import utilities directly in the app settings:

• Full Database JSON Backup: Generates a structured JSON archive containing your businesses, invoices, customers, products, suppliers, purchases, expenses, and payments. Backups are saved directly to a storage directory or cloud drive of your choice using Android's file picker.
• CSV Product Catalog: Import and export inventory lists seamlessly using standard comma-separated values (CSV).
• PDF Documents: Every invoice, delivery challan, credit note, quotation, and accounting report can be rendered as a PDF and shared solely through Android's native share intent to apps you choose (e.g., WhatsApp, Gmail, Drive).

7. Third-Party Services & Analytics

InvoicePro is committed to maintaining a clean, privacy-respecting user environment:

• No Advertising SDKs: The application does not contain third-party ad networks (such as Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network, or Unity Ads). Your workflow is completely ad-free and unmonitored.
• No User Behavior Trackers: We do not integrate third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase Analytics, Facebook SDK, or Mixpanel) to monitor which buttons you tap or what you type.
• Android System Services: Standard system-level facilities (e.g., Google Play In-App Updates, crash handling provided by the Android OS) may operate in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

8. Data Retention & Erasure

Because all data is stored on your device:

• Retention Period: Data remains on your device until you decide to edit or delete individual records, or uninstall the application.
• Complete Deletion: You can completely and irreversibly erase all application records at any time by navigating to Settings > Apps > InvoicePro > Storage > Clear Storage / Clear Data on your Android device, or by uninstalling the app.
• No Remote Remnants: Since we do not store your data on remote servers, deleting local data ensures there are no lingering copies on external systems.

9. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

InvoicePro is a commercial billing, taxation, and business management application intended for business operators, freelancers, and commercial enterprises. It is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Modifications to this Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time to accommodate new features, evolving operating system capabilities, or regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted to this document with a revised "Effective Date". We encourage you to review this page periodically.
